When a Chemical Operator wanted to use an alloy capable of withstanding at a temperature of 1100°C for a Catalyst Processing, it turned to Welders to identify the right material source and to formulate the complete welding process.

Welders N.V. was able to promptly pinpoint Alloy 602 CA suitable for ultra high temperature operation, according to ASME Code Case 1500-5.

Thanks to a close collaboration with the alloy producers, welding consumables and utilities suppliers and after comprehensive testing, Welders N.V. came up with the ideal welding procedure, including filler material selection and formulation of special consumables, resulting in the first industrial application of the MIG Process to this alloy. The equipment has been in service in rigorous conditions for over 2 years now and is giving total satisfaction.
